T Fund was founded in the middle of 2018, with our first fund being $100 million. We are a stage agnostic fund and we support entrepreneurs from early stage to growth stage.

OUR TEAM

We have a cross boarder team that is based in Silicon Valley, Beijing, and Shenzhen.

Aaron graduated from George Washington University with a PhD in Management. Prior to T Fund, he served as GM of the strategy and investment center of TCL Corporation. Before joining TCL, Aaron was a senior manager at Motorola in charge of strategic planning. Prior to his position at Motorola, Aaron was an assistant professor at the National University of Singapore teaching international business and strategic management in both MBA and EMBA programs. Some of his investments include Cambricon, Kateeve, Innoviz, Hailo, Ignition, Himalaya, FocalTech (5280.TW), BesTV (600637.SH), Social Touch (acquired) and S.C New Energy Technology (300724.SZ).

Hua graduated from Renmin University of China with a MBA degree. She joined in TCL Corporation as business assistant of chairman and served the group’s Strategic Development and Investor Relations Dept. She was a participant of a number of large-sized cross-border M&As with 15-year strategic investment under her belt. Some of her investments include CATL (300750), Shenzhen Dynanonic Co. (A16250.SZ), Megmeet (002851), Petro-king (2178.HK), and FocalTech (‪3545.TW).

Jay graduated from A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University and has more than 10 years’ experience in venture investing. Prior to T Fund, he was a Senior Director/ Partner at Walden Venture Capital and Principal at Granite Ventures (ex- H&Q venture group). Some of his investments include Plus One Robotics, MaintainX, Camelot, House Fund, Conductor, Hirvue, SquareTwo, Guru, Workboard, Marqeta, Bespoke Post, Anaplan (NYSE: PLAN), Robust Wealth (acquired), and Mixamo (acquired).

Haichuan graduated from Nanjing University and got his Master’s Degree in Computer Science, also he graduated from China Europe International Business School‘s EMBA program. Prior to T Fund, he was SVP/CTO of Tuniu.com (NASDAQ: TOUR) and Global VP of Trend Micro (TSE: 4704).

Ping graduated from KTH Royal Institute of Technology with a Master’s Degree in Scientific Computing. Prior to T Fund, she was a Director and CTO Assistant at TCL Research.

Yating graduated from Tulane University with a Master’s degree in finance. Prior to T Fund, she was a Senior Associate at PwC’s Deals Practice, focusing on business valuation and strategy consulting. Yating is a CFA Charterholder.

Chenyao graduated from UCLA and earned his master degree in financial engineering at Columbia University, Chenyao used to work in investment banking industry and now is an investment analyst at T Fund.
